At Geev, we attach great importance to protecting your privacy and are committed to ensuring the confidentiality of the personal information you share with us when using our mobile application and website. This document (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. It applies to all users of the Geev platform.

By signing up via email, Facebook, Google, or Apple Connect, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Privacy Policy, which is part of our Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of its terms, you are free not to use our services or to delete your account.

3. Data Controller

Geev, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered in Bordeaux under number 819 435 744, is the data controller. Geev ensures that all data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and that it is only kept for the duration necessary to fulfill its purposes.

We collect personal data directly from you and from your use of our services, for various purposes based on different legal grounds (contractual necessity, legal obligation, consent, or legitimate interest).

5. Additional Data Details

We collect:

  • Data you provide: profile data, photos, messages to Geev, survey responses, etc.

  • Data we collect via usage: IP address, login history, contact and donation activity, number of missed appointments, etc.

  • Geolocation and camera access for placing or browsing ads.

  • Device data: browser type, OS, crash logs, advertising ID (AAID or IDFA).

  • Marketing data, if you consent.

Your phone number is used only for account verification and is never visible to other users.


6. Legal Bases for Processing

We process data based on:

  • Contractual necessity: account creation, messaging, app features, user support.

  • Legitimate interest: moderation, anti-fraud, app improvement, ensuring rewards eligibility.

  • Legal obligation: preventing fraud or illegal activity.

  • Consent: for optional profile data, location, ad personalization, sharing with partners.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on the app and site. These include:
